"I just want this one article — why pay $10 a month?"
Few people subscribe to read one news article or one webtoon episode.
People and AI buy content piece by piece, and creators are paid the moment it sells.
Market Shift
Few people subscribe to read one news article or one webtoon episode.
ChatGPT and Claude pull in articles, data, and APIs for every answer they build. But until now, AI had no wallet.
What are micropayments? Payments far smaller than a cup of coffee — from 1¢ to a few dozen cents.
The Problem
So why couldn't anyone sell piece by piece until now?
Problem Definition
Card payments charge a percentage plus a fixed cost on every transaction. So the web's only options were "free or subscription".
AI crawlers collect hundreds of millions of pages a day for training and answers. The people who made that content get nothing.
There's a hard limit to how many subscriptions one person can carry.
Around 30¢ per transaction · days to settle
Near-zero cost per transaction · instant settlement

Korea Market Bridge
While Korea finalizes its stablecoin rules, NanoTrans asks consumers for no wallet — they start with the KakaoPay, NaverPay, and TossPay they already use.
Tops up $5 via KakaoPay · NaverPay · TossPay
Deducted 3¢ per purchase, like webtoon cookies
Balances converted to USDC in batches · x402 payment rail runs
USDC settled on-chain · money lands with no payout day
Top up once and spend in slices — the payment fee happens exactly once.
People top up through payment apps; AI agents pay straight from their own wallets — every payout runs on the same x402 rail.
Once won-denominated stablecoins are legalized in Korea, prepaid balances convert straight over — evolving into native payments with zero structural change.
Technology
NanoTrans issues no coin of its own. We use only international standard protocols and proven payment networks.
Payment protocol
A protocol that attaches payment instructions to the web-standard "402 Payment Required" response.
Currency · network
A $1-pegged stablecoin (USDC) on a low-cost network (Base) — transfers cost under a tenth of a cent, so even 1¢ transactions stay profitable.
Automatic settlement
Code executes the revenue split automatically — the provider's share lands instantly. No human can intervene, so missed or delayed payouts are structurally impossible.
Sales revenue goes straight to the provider's wallet without passing through NanoTrans.
Payment-app top-ups are managed separately and only deducted on purchase.
Payment keys live only in a secure area outside your site (WordPress). Even if the site is hacked, the wallet is safe.
Before settlement runs, the code hash is verified — guaranteeing the deployed code is exactly what executes.
Revenue Model
Payouts arrive in USDC, a dollar-pegged stablecoin — exchangeable for local currency through major crypto exchanges.
| Scenario | Content | Avg. price | Monthly sales | Monthly revenue |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solo blogger | 200 posts | 3¢ | 3,000 sales | $63 |
| Pro newsletter | 500-issue archive | 10¢ | 8,000 sales | $560 |
| Mid-size newsroom | 100K articles | 3¢ | 300K sales | $6,300 |
| Data company | 20 API products | 1¢/call | 5M calls | $35,000 |
Based on the 70% payout rate · sales volumes are illustrative assumptions in approximate USD; actual revenue varies with content and traffic.
To AI, an old archive post is exactly the source it needs right now. Content you already made becomes revenue at zero extra cost.
NanoTrans only earns when you do — more transactions, shared upside.
